Catalent Announces New Vice President and General Manager for Its Printed Components Business

SOMERSET, N.J. – July 14, 2008 — Catalent Pharma Solutions, the leading provider of outsourced clinical and commercial packaging services to the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, announced the appointment of Victor Dixon as Vice President and General Manager for the Printed Components business of its Packaging Services segment.  Dixon will be located at Catalent's Red Lion Road facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dixon comes to Catalent with in-depth experience and a strong track record of success in packaging and printing.  He joins the organization from Cortegra Group, a manufacturer of package inserts, labels and cartons for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, where he was President and CEO.  Prior to that, he spent ten years at Alcoa, Inc. in positions of increasing responsibility, serving as General Manager, Vice President and General Manager and Vice President Global Sales for their Flexible Packaging business.
