Catalent Pharma Solutions (Somerset, NJ) has announced the appointment of Victor Dixon as vice president and general manager for its packaging services’ printed components business. Dixon most recently held the position of president and CEO of Cortegra. His prior experience includes 10 years at Alcoa Inc., where he served as vice president and general manager for global sales, and vice president for global sales of flexible packaging.
Cortegra Group (Fairfield, NJ) has promoted James A. Struhar to general manager. Struhar began as VP of finance and control at Cortegra a year ago, after working as vice president of finance operations with Outsourcing Services Group. In his new role overseeing the management team, he will supervise all of Cortegra’s departments, including operations, finance, IT, human resources, and packaging solutions.
Oliver Medical (Grand Rapids, MI) has announced several staff changes. Jeff Murak has been promoted to vice president of marketing and sales. Murak joined Oliver in 1997 as an inside sales representative and was promoted to customer service manager during his first year. In 2000, he became director of marketing. David Haines will fill the recently created position of business development manager. Since beginning with the company in 1987, Haines has served many positions in sales and marketing. His most recent role was as regional manager of sales in the Eastern United States. The second announcement was that Temple Phipps moved into the role of regional manager of sales for the Eastern United States. Phipps held sales positions at Pliant Corp. and Ultra Flex Packaging Corp.
Montesino Associates (Wilmington, DE) has hired Angela Roggenhofer as a senior associate. Roggenhofer’s 12 years of experience include sales and marketing positions with Pechiney S.A., Hueck Folien/Hueck Foils LLC (now Constantia-Hueck Foils), and Honeywell International, as well as working in her native Germany as a top management consultant. At Montesino, Roggenhofer will oversee projects with U.S. converter companies and pharmaceutical clients and focus on education and training in Latin America and Europe.
