Roll Splitter

A device accommodates 30-in.-long rolls with diameters up to 15 in. The PAC Model 52 roll splitter automatically removes paper, plastic film, foil, holographic film, nonwovens, and other off-spec, start-up, or waste materials rolled onto a core without contacting the core itself. Pouch-Filling Machine

ABS Pouch Machine
An open-fill-seal pouch machine handles large premade Tyvek, strip header bags, foils, and barrier pouches for the packaging of bulky medical devices and trays. The Maverick Poucher provides horizontal product loading and has a single automatic bar seal (ABS) system standard. A second bar seal system can be integrated for higher production rates. LED Light Curing

A high-intensity spot LED system cures coatings, as well as adhesive bonding of polycarbonate, PVC, PET, metal, glass, and other substrates. The BlueWave LED visible light system generates light using an array of surface-mount LEDs instead of traditional mercury or metal halide bulbs. The LEDs produce visible light energy in a narrow wavelength band centered at 410 nm. The system emits a maximum visible light intensity output of more than 2500 mW/cm2 from an 8-mm-diam light guide. Flat Measurement System
A lay-flat measuring system monitors and controls the finished lay-flat quality of substrates such as PVC, PET, OPS, and SBC and measures to a tolerance of 0.1 mm. The ProSleeve provides an interface with continuous display of the live measured web width and the desired quality thresholds, and a histogram of the last 10 running minutes.
