Graham Packaging Co. (York, PA) has announced plans to open a new plant in Casa Grande, AZ. The facility will produce high-performance plastic bottles for Ensure adult nutritionals made by Ross Products Division of Abbott Laboratories. The 100,000-sq-ft plant will include office, manufacturing, and warehouse space.

Graham Packaging will use new high-speed multilayer extrusion blowmolding equipment to provide Abbott with reclosable bottles. The bottles will replace the current can product. The plant is scheduled to open in March 2004 and will provide 30 new full-time jobs.
