The CrossJect single-use needle-free injection system, manufactured by CrossJect SA (Paris), is a prefilled device designed to perform subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intradermal injections. The system's architecture and concept was driven by InterDesign (Paris). Unlike other needle-free systems, the product does not look like a syringe, thus breaking with the traditional fear-inducing image. The product received a 2006 Medical Design Excellence Award.
