Survey Methodology

The 2006 Revenue Management Excellence Survey was conducted by Computer Sciences Corp.–Global Health Solutions (El Segundo, CA) and Model N Inc. (South San Francisco, CA). The survey identifies and examines medtech manufacturer trends and initiatives related to revenue management. Following are some of the operational characteristics of the survey.

  • Forty respondents from 34 medical device companies participated in the survey.
  • The survey was conducted through Decipher Inc. (Fresno, CA) using an online questionnaire.
  • Invitations to participate were sent to a prequalified list of companies.
  • The survey was open for one month.
  • The survey included a total of 87 questions.
  • Privacy of participation was ensured, and respondents were given an opportunity to be     completely anonymous.
  • In certain cases, not all questions were answered or not all responses were usable.
