The Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) program is presented annually by Canon Communications LLC (Los Angeles), with publication sponsorship provided by Medical Device & Diagnostic Industry magazine.

Corporate sponsorship for the MDEA competition is provided by major industry suppliers that understand the importance of innovation in medical products.
