Each year, winners in the Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) competition share credit for their achievements with dozens of outsourcing firms with specialties as wide ranging as raw materials supply, product design and prototyping services, and finished assembly and packaging.
The MDEA competition also acknowledges such named suppliers through a special program designed especially to honor the many supplier companies that contribute to MDEA-winning products. Such suppliers earn the exclusive right to use and display the special MDEA supplier logo in their promotional materials and exhibit booths.
In an era when outsourcing is a key business strategy for medtech executives, the MDEA supplier logo is more than a mere symbol.
